We spent about a month at home, spending time with our kids, relatives, and friends for the holidays. We also had a passel of doctor and dentist appointments (things you have to cram together when you’re only home occasionally) and we had some minor repairs to the Ciaowagen.

However, as you can see below it gets pretty cold in Virginia in January, so we were anxious to get on the road to warmer places.

We left home on January 19th, stopping first in the Outer Banks to visit Jeannette’s sister, and then south to Savannah, Georgia for a couple days. After that, we continue south to Florida where we’ll spend about a month. Look for blog updates soon!

Finally, we want to share our rough travel plans for 2020, which will occupy us from January through November. Lots of new stuff to see, and lots and lots of miles to drive. We’re excited about the travels ahead.
