What, traveling again already?
It is true that we've just wrapped up our 2023 RV summer travels. However, not ones to let the grass grow under our feet, one week later we're heading to the United Kingdom for the first time in 15 years. We have some medical treatments coming up in October, and wanted to complete this trip before that, while the weather is still nice.
We'll spend most of September in the UK, focusing on the outdoors and wild places. We'll spend time in England's Lake District and the Yorkshire dales and moors, as well as Scotland's Isle of Skye and the Outer Hebrides islands. We'll civilize things at the end with a few days in London before flying home in early October. Along the way, we'll have a chance to visit with some friends.
We decided on this itinerary based on conversations we'd had with some of the folks we met in our Dolomites photography workshop last October, as well with some Brits we met on our Antarctic cruise.
As usual, we'll share our experiences and photographs in upcoming blog posts.
